Passage - Non locking. Generally used on hall or closets doors. May be also be used on exterior doors with a deadbolt.

Privacy - Generally used on bedroom/bathroom doors with a thumb turn to activate lock from interior. Exterior has an emergency release turn for unlocking.

Single Dummy knobs or levers are sold individually and are non functioning. Perfect for ball catch doors where a latch is not needed or as decorative trim.

Dummy pairs (full dummy) are sold in pairs. Non functioning and are ideal for ball catch or double doors where a latch is not needed but where the look of a knob or lever is desired. Through mounted. (If ordering Levers, you will receive 1 left and 1 right hand lever.)

  The backset describes the length of the latch itself. To determine this, start at the center of the borehole drilled in the door and measure to the edge of the door.

Please note: 1-1/4" dia. bore is needed for passage and privacy sets

Most interior doors measure 1 3/8” thick, while most exterior doors measure 1 3/4” thick.

• Simply stand outside the room or house facing the door
• If the hinges are on the left, it is a Left-Hand Door lever
• If the hinges are on the right, it is a Right-Hand Door lever
• For single dummy's, stand on the side of the door you are placing the lever on and follow the same steps as above
