Spring Latch                  Mortise Lock

Passage Spring Latch - Non locking.

Privacy Spring Latch - Generally used on bedroom/bathroom doors.

Single Dummy knobs or levers are sold individually for inactive doors.

Dummy pairs  2 knobs or levers, 1 for each side of the inactive door.

  The backset describes the length of the latch itself. To determine this, start at the center of the borehole drilled in the door and measure to the edge of the door.

Most interior doors measure 1 3/8” thick, while most exterior doors measure 1 3/4” thick.

• Simply stand outside the room or house facing the door
• If the hinges are on the left, it is a Left-Hand Door lever
• If the hinges are on the right, it is a Right-Hand Door lever
• For single dummy's, stand on the side of the door you are placing the lever on and follow the same steps as above
